Well, after over 4 months of trial and error, trial and error, I finally managed to complete my first Short Film! I cannot express how happy I am about this, since I was originally so passionate about this project. To finally see a completed product is such a sigh of relief, especially since I am able to show it to my wonderful art teacher Ms. Rohr, who stars in it, before I leave High School
The Artist Fantastic is a film about a tortured young artist who seeks liberation through the completion of her work, however her emotional block may prove to be her downfall. Set to Bruno Coulais’s The Book of Kells.
I am aware that there are technical flaws, but at this point I could not care less, since I am just so glad that it is finished. It took a lot of work from not just myself, but from my camera man, Brent Summers and his brother, Andrew Summers. Then, of course, I have to thank Ms. Rohr. She shot this film with me not once, but twice, which only shows just how incredible of a teacher-of a woman-she really is. Please, when watching it, take a second to just..really look at her. She is perhaps one of, if not the most, stunning woman I’ve ever met. Film doesn’t even do her justice in portraying just how naturally beautiful she is. I am happy to admit that I see her as far more than a teacher, but as a Muse. I hope that I can work with her more in the future, and show the world what real beauty is.
So, without further interruption, I give you The Artist Fantastic
